Text Box: The Indian Cope Text Box: The Indian Cope This is by far the oldest cope we have, it must have looked beautiful when it was first made (look at the colour under the hood). sadly this has faded over time. It just has the two crests on the front (Lichfield and York) Its called the Indian Cope because it is made of Indian silk.
